- ukážky samochodnej parnej lokomobily Eržiky a parnej lokomobily UMRATH poháňajúcej mláťačku
- jazda Nitrianskou poľnou železnicou, detským vláčikom a traktorbusom
- 11.9. sobota o 10.00 hod. prezentácia historických vozidiel klubov: Old Timer Club Nitra, Veteran Car Club Nitra, Aero Club Slovakia a prezentácia historických traktorov

The visit rate of the Agrokomplex Exhibition still high
More than 70,000 people have come to see 37th Agrokomplex Exhibition this year. The visit rate is on the last year´s level, while on Saturday it was even higher than on this day last year. Totally, almost 430 exhibitors from 9 European countries introduced themselves on the area of over 11,000 m2.
„We realize that the situation in agriculture is not easy this year. All the more we respect all exhibitors and visitors of the exhibition Agrokomplex. We believe that it has contributed a bit to the improvement of the mood of our farmers and gave them optimism to their further work“, said Miloslav Pisár, director of Agrokomplex – Výstavníctvo Nitra, state enterprise.
The exhibition was opened by a symbolic field scything by the Minister of Soil Management, Environment and Regional Development - Zsolt Simon on Thursday, August 19.
Within the framework of the contests for Quality Mark, Farmers Quality Mark, Golden Sickle and Champion of the Exhibition, 47 prizes were awarded. During Agrokomplex also departmental honours and honourable mentions by the Minister, or the prizes Slovak Beer Crown for our best beers were awarded.
The most beautiful animal of the exhibition has become the heifer of Holstein breed and the most photogenic animal of the exhibition has become the white short-haired goat.
The historical railway journey was used by more than 14,000 people during four days of the exhibition. From among the expositions of the Slovak Agricultural Museum visitors mainly admired the displays of the traditional haymaking and Tractorparade, which presented 22 historical tractors.
Among the most frequently visited accompanying events belonged the performances of the National Stud Farm Topoľčianky, Waggoner´s contest for a harvest wreath and the Slovak Championship in pair-horse ploughing.
The hay-fork throwing was joined by more than 500 people. The Slovak record on the level of 31.6 m, which is held by the javelin thrower Michal Repiský, was not been overcome. The longest throw this year reached only 28.4 m.

The Nitra Autosalón with biannual periodicity
The Nitra auto show, organized by Agrokomplex – Výstavníctvo Nitra, štátny podnik, will take place every two years. The nearest Autosalón will take place in autumn 2011. This change is a reaction to the development on the automotive market and it also reflects our ambition to make the show more streamlined.
“The main criterion for our exhibitions is their high quality, acclaimed and recognized both by the exhibitors and visitors. Over the past 17 years, the general public has got accustomed to Autosalón Nitra and its high quality and we believe the biannual periodicity can provide just this kind of continuity“, says Miloslav Pisár, General Director of Agrokomplex.

Lignumexpo fair in Nitra in Eumabois calendar again
The 17th International Engineering Fair of Machinery, Tools, Equipment and Technologies LIGNUMEXPO 2010 and The 13th International Forestry Exhibition FOREST 2010 as well as the 6th trade exhibition MNS - materials, news, service for wood and furniture industry for windows and door producers will be held at the international exhibition centre Agrokomplex – Výstavníctvo Nitra with support of European Federation of Woodworking Machinery Manufacturers Eumabois this year. This exact date of the fair event is planned on October 5 - 8, 2010. Exhibition centre in Nitra has been organizing this fair successfully since 1991. The fairs are organized in co-operation with Association of Wood Processing Manufacturers of the Slovak Republic and a State Enterprise Lesy SR.
Last edition of the fair recorded 200 exhibiting over companies in 8 pavilions. The expected visit rate is 13 000 visitors this year. The Eumabois membership enables to promote the fair abroad. Specialised accompanying events will be prepared for trade visitors that will be published at the following website of the organizer www.agrokomplex.sk
